On Thursday the little boys and I took our second 2010 trip to Sky Top apple orchard. This time we went with our friends, the Blattmans. It was another beautiful day, a little cool and windy upon arrival, but quite pleasant as the day wore on. The apple folks had placed a sign where the wagons and buckets were, saying "Due to the warm weather, most of the apples have been picked. Please enjoy a walk through the orchard." So, that's what we did. We walked....and walked....and walked.
Nathanael ate more rotten apples, but mostly he threw them.
The kids climbed a few trees....
...and they even found a few Granny Smith apples left on the trees to pick.
We walked some more, fed the sheep and goats, picked some dandelions, and ate apple cider donuts. Ahhhhh, fall.
