Today my cousins, who live in Charlotte, NC, had planned a trip to the zoo and asked us (me, my mom, sister and kids) to join them. Sounded like a great plan to us; my cousin Stephanie has two kids close in age to mine. Unfortunately we failed to discuss which zoo we each had in mind, so as we were on the phone trying to find each other at the zoo, we realized that they were in Columbia while we were in Greenville! Oops! Oh well, we'll just have to try again another time. Meanwhile, my sister Robin (better known as YaYa to my kids) and I enjoyed the day with the boys at the zoo. Daddy even joined us after he finished taking the GMAT today. It was a beautiful day with a nice breeze.
We started with a picnic. Nathanael was too much of a destroyer to be allowed to sit on the blanket. YaYa fed him some spaghetti.
