On Christmas morning, the kids woke up early. I can't recall exactly, but I feel like Nathanael woke up at 4:00 (he was sleeping pretty light on Christmas Eve in an attempt to catch Santa, whom he only occasionally believes in), but thankfully left us alone until a more reasonable hour. They followed instruction to wait until I could watch them open their stockings. Stockings are probably the most exciting part of Christmas.
The unseasonably warm temperatures continued for an exceptionally warm and moist Christmas Day. It was pretty disgusting. Cousins played outside for hours. This is what Christmas looked like:
