Paul took Sam to his first Clemson football game September 11. Sam was super excited to go. They followed the marching band before the game as they marched to the stadium. Sam's really into music, so he loved that. His other favorite part was the release of the balloons.
He made it through the first quarter before he announced that he was hungry. Paul, not thinking like a mother, hadn't brought any snacks for the poor boy and there was a little girl sitting in front of them eating everything from cotton candy and m&m's to hot dogs. It made Sam want something and he told Paul "they have little restaurants up there", because he had seen the concession stands when they came in.
Even though they only lasted 1 quarter, Sam had a great time. Now we'll just have to get him to a BYU game before he becomes confused about where his loyalty should be.
