Claire's party

On Claire's actual birthday, she had her princess birthday party. She had most of her best little baby friends and her best cousin. In attendance were Tessa, Brynn, Brielle, Jillian, Andy, and Emmett (plus some older siblings).

 I made tiaras and wands for the girls. The kiddos snacked on pb&j crown sandwiches, apples with baked brie, cucumber tea sandwiches, chex mix, princess fruit snacks and grapes before enjoying cherry almond vanilla cupcakes.

Claire was traumatized by the candles. She began to whimper when I encouraged her to blow them out and after I finally extinguished them myself, she told me she was afraid of fire.

After a few minutes to compose herself, she enjoyed her cupcake anyway.

Claire enjoyed playing with her friends and definitely knew it was her special day. She still talks about her birthday party and eating a cupcake a month and a half later.

She also enjoyed opening her birthday presents. Her loot included a chef set, a tea set, a sticker book, a stuffed mickey mouse, an outfit, a playpen for her dolls, milk and juice for her dolls, a book, pants, and her ABSOLUTE favorite gift of all, a small, white stuffed kitten. It's not white anymore.
