About a week and a half before Thanksgiving we got our first snow of the season. It has now been 3 months since that time, so I don't remember much about it, but I know there wasn't a lot. But the kids still played in it and were very excited.
Next up, Thanksgiving. Per family tradition, we gathered with the whole Rogers clan at Papa's neighborhood clubhouse, brought more food than necessary, ate more than necessary, and spent more time with family than necessary. Just kidding about that last part, of course.
The kids spent most of their time entertaining themselves and the adults by sliding down the big hill on cardboard. By the looks of it, Sam would make quite an excellent snowboarder. And Nathanael, well he's hilarious and loves life; give that boy a piece of cardboard and a hill and he's good to go. He also became immediately fond of the snowman hat made by Michelle. He has worn it all winter.
